Senior Financial Analyst

Join MongoDB as a Senior Financial Analyst in the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. You will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and partnering with the business to drive decision-making and resource planning. Your role will involve building and maintaining detailed financial and operating models, conducting ad-hoc analyses, improving operational effectiveness, and performing financial month-end close activities. You should have 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.

• Establish positive relationships and become a key advisor for G&A partners, building a solid understanding of business drivers.
• Build and maintain detailed financial and operating models to support stakeholders in all aspects of their budget, including headcount planning.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses and build financial models to guide leaders toward efficient operating strategies, resource allocation, and investments.

• This position requires an adaptable self-starter who is able to work comfortably and communicate clearly with stakeholders across the organization, progress tasks from start to finish, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, challenging environment
• Confidence to forge strong relationships with business partners at all levels of the organization; prior business partnering experience preferred, within a tech company a plus
• 3-5 years experience in FP&A, and/or analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative skills
• Bachelor’s Degree; finance, business or economics preferred
• Highly organized with rigorous attention to detail
• Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
• Drive for results and a sense of urgency with the capacity to multitask and prioritize
• Proficiency in financial modeling, Google Suite, and Microsoft Excel; financial planning tools (Pigment) are a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
