Senior FP&A Analyst

Join our team as a Senior FP&A Analyst, where you will lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans. You will perform detailed analyses, prepare comprehensive financial reports, and support various financial planning and analysis activities. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that financial plans are accurate and aligned with the company's objectives. Additionally, you will maintain knowledge of DoD, government contracting, and public auditing policies, and lead and mentor team members.

• Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
• Perform detailed analyses, prepare comprehensive financial reports and projections, and support various financial planning and analysis activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for financial planning and utilize data analysis tools to perform detailed financial analyses.

• Recent experience in leading teams both formally and informally
• Knowledge of DoD, government contracting, and/or public auditing policies, labor rate composition
• Experience in a finance-related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Schedule Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts, or Procurement Financial Analysis
• Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or Masters +6 yrs experience)
• Typically 8+ years of related experience
• Experience collecting data from several sources, performing analysis, and communicating data
• Strong business analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools
• Experience with advanced features in Excel (i.e., Pivot Tables, Vlookups, etc.)
• Experience with management consulting, data analytics, finance, or other quantitative or analytical roles in business, program, or operations management
• Experience in preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management
• Certifications: CPA, CFA, or FP&A
• Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Familiarity with financial planning and analysis best practices
• Proven track record of leading financial projects or teams
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
