Job Description

Join MSX International, a global leader in providing innovative solutions and services to the automotive industry. As the Team Lead for Vehicle Administration, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the OEM's Department Car program and serve as the on-site MSX team lead for all MSX-employed staff within the department. This role requires attention to detail, process discipline, and the ability to navigate a corporate OEM environment with professionalism and reliability.

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the OEM’s Department Car program, including vehicle ordering, allocation, tracking, compliance, and disposal.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between MSX’s organizational processes and the OEM’s embedded work environment, providing coordination on HR and payroll processes.
  • Conduct regular performance check-ins and formal evaluations for MSX team members, providing timely, constructive feedback that supports development and accountability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience will be considered.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a team lead role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing the work of others, including performance monitoring, scheduling, coaching, and disciplinary conversations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, managing basic reporting and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to learn and navigate enterprise systems, portals, and fleet management platforms (e.g., CVMP or similar vehicle tracking tools) with minimal instruction.
  • Familiarity with systems for basic HR functions, such as timecard and PTO tracking.
  • Comfort with IT service request systems and coordinating on operational issues.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an embedded or shared-environment setting where navigating dual organizational expectations is a daily reality.
  • Experience in fleet management, vehicle administration, or automotive operations.
  • Experience with compliance auditing and inventory management.

Core Competencies

  • Interpersonal maturity and professional discretion — the ability to handle sensitive employee matters with confidentiality, fairness, and sound judgment.
  • Organization and process discipline — the ability to manage multiple moving parts while coordinating employee support needs, without letting either function slip.
  • Clear, direct communication — the ability to set expectations, deliver feedback, coordinate across stakeholders, and inform leadership in a professional manner.
  • Relationship-building orientation — the ability to earn trust and maintain credibility with both OEM partners and MSX team members.
  • Adaptability and initiative — comfort operating in an environment where priorities can shift, and the ability to figure things out without waiting for explicit direction.
  • A “roll up your sleeves” mentality — a willingness to help wherever necessary, understanding that every function plays a key role in the department’s success.
