Job Description

You'll collaborate closely with senior engineers, Product, and Design, and contribute to discovery and access flows, integrate with platform APIs, and build member-facing UI. - 0–2 years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent internship/academic project experience) - Clear written and verbal communication — this role requires close collaboration with Product, Design, and adjacent platform teams (Developer Portal, Persons/Profile API) - Comfortable working on well-defined tickets with pair programming and consultation from more senior engineers - AI-native engineering practices — comfortable using AI tooling (e.g., code generation, test coverage, documentation) to accelerate development - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience - Solid fundamentals in data structures, debugging, and automated testing - Working proficiency in at least one modern backend language (Java preferred) and comfort with REST APIs - Working experience with a modern frontend framework (React and/or Next.js) - Exposure to eligibility, entitlements, or identity/benefits-adjacent domains - Experience with JSON-based data modeling or rules/policy engines - Familiarity with 's Wallet, OAuth/OIDC concepts, or the Nova/Fragno design system - Prior full-stack project experience spanning a UI, an API layer, and a database - Familiarity with accessibility standards and cross-browser behavior
