Project Finance Associate

Join Recurrent Energy, a subsidiary of Canadian Solar, as a Project Finance Associate. In this highly visible role, you will support and manage debt and tax equity capital raising for solar and battery storage projects. You will also provide sophisticated financial modeling to identify creative solutions to profitability objectives. This position requires strong communication and process management skills, as well as a long-term interest in project finance.

• Assister à la gestion de la levée de capitaux par la dette et l'équité fiscale pour les projets solaires et de stockage d'énergie.
• Fournir un leadership dans la modélisation financière et l'analyse de rentabilité, en prenant la responsabilité du contenu et de la sortie du modèle de financement du projet.
• Collaborer avec l'équipe de Business Analytics pour garantir que les modèles de projet en phase de développement reflètent adéquatement les conditions et structures du marché de la dette et de l'équité fiscale.

• Ability to translate complex quantitative analysis into written, deliverable insights
• Self-starter that takes pride in optimizing financial models and overall work products
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Solid understanding of project finance and economic concepts
• Expert understanding of power and financing markets
• Expertise in modeling and structuring tax equity
• Strong quantitative aptitude with an extremely high level of attention to detail
• Highly proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
• Interested in working in a fast-growing industry that is making a tangible impact on climate change
• 3- 5 years of relevant experience required

• Must have strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Travel required, 0-25%
