Principal Research and Development Engineer (NPD)

Join our team as a Principal Research and Development Engineer, where you will be the subject matter expert in the design, continuous improvement, and manufacturability of neurovascular, endovascular, or vascular products. You will lead technical projects, evaluate new product designs, and ensure products are designed for manufacturability. This position offers stock options, a 401k, health benefits, and team events.

• Concevoir, améliorer et assurer la fabricabilité de produits neurovasculaires, endovasculaires ou vasculaires commercialisés.
• Diriger des projets techniques assignés dans le groupe d'ingénierie des cathéters pour améliorer la valeur, étendre la gamme et assurer la conformité commerciale.
• Évaluer les caractéristiques de performance des nouvelles conceptions de produits et identifier les opportunités de développement ou d'amélioration.

• Entrepreneurial spirit, a strong foundation in documentation and communications skills required
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related discipline and a minimum of 12+ years of related experience driving innovation in the development of flexible medical device instruments; or equivalent combination of education and work experience in related regulated industry
• Experience leading a technical cross-functional team through all phases of product development
• Ability to be self-directed with minimal direction and supervision and take initiative to discern from multiple priorities when guiding a technical project team toward efficient solutions and opportunities; ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment
