Senior Marketing Insights Analyst

Join Moloco as a Senior Marketing Insights Analyst, where you'll transform complex data into compelling narratives that resonate with external audiences. You'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of public claims, executing independent research projects, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. Strong data storytelling skills, experience in mobile or advertising, and proficiency in SQL and BI tools are required.

• Ensuring that all public claims made by the company are substantiated and defensible.
• Independently executing research projects, coordinating with external partners, and applying industry knowledge.

• Demonstrated ability to work as a genuine thought partner to cross-functional stakeholders, comfortable asking hard questions and challenging assumptions rather than just presenting findings
• Strong data storytelling skills as a core competency: proven ability to turn a messy dataset into a single, sharp narrative for an external audience
• Experience producing rigorous, defensible research and thought leadership, with comfort working through legal review
• Hands-on experience in mobile, advertising, or ad tech, with the confidence to hold your own with industry experts, analysts, and customers
• Intellectual honesty under scrutiny: comfortable being directly challenged on your own numbers, and willing to concede or revise a claim rather than defend it reflexively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the confidence to execute independently on a day-to-day basis
• Rigorous, hands-on analytical ability: strong SQL plus experience with tools like Python/R and BI platforms (Looker, Tableau, or similar)
• Industry knowledge (mobile, advertising, ad tech, or adjacent) strong enough to bring a point of view, not just process data
• Experience executing projects independently once scoped, including with external partners or agencies, with good judgment on who to loop in and when
• Experience working with external research/consulting partners or data partnerships
• Experience navigating claims substantiation or disclosure controls in a growing or scaling company
• Proficiency working alongside AI tools/agents for research and data analysis (rather than manual execution)
• Background in journalism, consulting, or research that required translating data into a defensible public narrative
