Financial Accountant

Join Creative Fabrica as a Financial Accountant, where you will play a crucial role in day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close. You will be responsible for core accounting activities, including Accounts Payable, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, VAT and other tax-related activities, payment processing, and supporting the preparation of accurate financial information. This role is designed for an experienced accounting professional who wants to broaden their responsibilities over time. You will work extensively in Oracle NetSuite, collaborate with colleagues across the business, and liaise with vendors and external parties.

• Verantwoordelijk voor de kernaccountingactiviteiten, waaronder Accounts Payable, bank- en balansreconciliaties, journaalposten, BTW en andere belastinggerelateerde activiteiten.
• Ondersteunen van de maandafsluiting, balansreconciliaties en managementrapportage, en proactief onderzoeken van afwijkingen en ongebruikelijke transacties.
• Verbeteren van NetSuite-processen, bankfeed/uitgavenintegraties en identificeren van automatiseringsmogelijkheden (inclusief AI) in de financiële workflows.

• A proactive mindset with the ability to investigate issues and find practical solutions
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
• Experience in international VAT/GST
• Experience working with international VAT, sales tax or GST is a strong advantage
• Experience in High-volume transactions
• Strong attention to detail and a structured, organised approach to work
• Experience in international B2C/SaaS/subscription businesses
• 5+ years in a similar accounting role, with strong fundamentals and Dutch GAAP experience
• Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a small Finance team
• A degree or relevant professional experience in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• Experience in consolidation
• Solid grasp of Dutch/EU VAT (OB, OSS, ICP filings) and WKR
• Experience in revenue recognition
