Senior Partner Solutions Engineer (Hardware)

Join Adyen as a Senior Partner Solutions Engineer, where you'll be the primary technical authority for one or more complex hardware OEM partners. You'll drive technical strategy, lead cross-functional alignment, and mentor other Partner Solutions Engineers. • Serve as the primary technical advisor for OEM's engineering team, leading escalations on complex device-level issues.
• Drive technical strategy for the OEM relationship, prioritizing issues, closing process gaps, and evolving automation and tooling.
• Lead cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Hardware Integrity/Reliability, and Commercial on priorities for the OEM.

• 4+ years of hands-on embedded, firmware, or systems engineering experience, with meaningful exposure to hardware, embedded, or device-level environments
• 8+ years of experience in a technical solutions role, partner engineering, or related fields, with proven experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., developer advocate, partner engineer, technical solutions engineer, or solutions architect)
• High agency and a strategic mindset: you're thinking a few steps past the current ticket queue
• A credible technical authority who can evaluate an OEM's root-cause claims and hold senior OEM engineering counterparts accountable
• Willing to travel to OEM locations and work across time zones
• Excellent communicator, comfortable leading discussions with senior partner engineering leadership and internal cross-functional stakeholders
• Track record of turning a reactive backlog into durable process, tooling, or automation
• Embedded Android experience in a point-of-sale context (e.g. point-of-sale terminals, payment terminals, kiosks, unattended/vending machines, etc.) is a plus
