AI Scientist Intern

You will assist with data collection, cleaning, feature engineering, and model validation, and contribute to documentation, technical reports, and research presentations. • Support the development, testing, and evaluation of AI/ML models for educational products.
• Assist with data collection, cleaning, feature engineering, and model validation across datasets.
• Contribute to documentation, technical reports, model performance analyses, and research presentations.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to synthesize information, identify themes, and communicate insights clearly
• Education: Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, returning to school in Fall 2027
• Full-time availability to participate from June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027
• Knowledge of and interest in the K–12 education technology field
• Working knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP), large language models (LLMs), or generative AI applications
• Experience with data analysis, statistical modeling, or AI/ML research projects — academic or professional
• Familiarity with Python, R, or SQL; experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus
• Interest in AI ethics, responsible AI, adaptive learning systems, or AI-driven personalization
• Exposure to AI research tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), or data visualization platforms
