3P Revenue Accounting & Reporting

Join our Accounting team as a Senior Manager, 3P Revenue Accounting & Reporting. You will be responsible for revenue recognition, month-end close, and reporting for our cloud service provider channels. You will collaborate with finance, engineering, and business teams to ensure accurate and auditable revenue. Additionally, you will lead the automation of the close process and serve as the primary contact for external auditors. • Lead the revenue close for cloud service provider Marketplace within a listed company timeline, including preparation and review of revenue journal entries.
• Own balance sheet reconciliations, reserves, and the usage-to-invoice-to-cash bridge, and perform monthly and quarterly flux analysis.
• Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, review the work of accountants and contractors, and ensure close packages are complete and audit-ready.

• Have designed or operated SOX controls and supported external audits
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent (ACA, ACCA)
• Experience with cloud marketplace, reseller, or channel revenue (AWS Marketplace, Google Cloud Marketplace, Azure Marketplace)
• Strong ASC 606 knowledge, especially principal-vs-agent, variable consideration, consideration payable to a customer, and consumption-based revenue
• Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where processes are still being built
• Have built revenue reporting from large, imperfect third-party data sets and reconciled it to the general ledger
• Experience using AI tools to automate accounting and reporting work
• Hands-on experience with Workday Financials, NetSuite, Numeric, Hex, or similar close and reporting tools
• Experience with usage-based and subscription revenue models
• Communicate clearly with accounting, finance, business, and engineering teams
• Have managed external partner relationships where you depended on their data, and pushed for fixes
• Have 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years managing revenue accounting or close teams
• Have strong SQL skills (BigQuery or similar) and experience automating close workbooks or reconciliations
• Experience with IPO readiness
• Big 4 audit experience combined with industry experience at a high-growth tech or SaaS company
• Have owned a month-end close with tight deadlines and reviewed journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis
