Job Description

Join Cribl, a remote-first company, as a Staff Data Analyst. In this role, you will act as an internal data consultant and product owner, tackling complex business challenges and designing self-serve data solutions. You will work across multiple business units, translating complex analyses into clear narratives, and serving as a strategic thought partner to cross-functional stakeholders. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, disability and income protection, mental health care, retirement plans, family planning benefits, generous time off, and remote office perks.

  • Act as an internal data consultant and product owner, taking on complex business challenges and designing self-serve data solutions.
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, compelling narratives, tailoring insights and recommendations to different audiences to drive decisions.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to cross-functional stakeholders, aligning analytical priorities, influencing decisions, and driving clarity on complex business challenges.
  • 7+ years in analytics, data, or a related role, including direct partnership with senior business leaders
  • Experience building or directing predictive models (e.g., propensity, churn) and experiments, and judging when their output is good enough to act on
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with the modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt) and BI tools with semantic layers (e.g. Omni, Looker, Sigma). Fluency is the bar, not virtuosity: we expect you to use AI-assisted modeling to move faster, and we’d rather have deep business knowledge with competent SQL than the reverse
  • A track record of presenting analysis to executives that influenced a decision
  • Strong written communication: you can turn an analysis into a short memo a leader can act on without a meeting
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across stakeholders and decline requests with a clear reason
  • Deep knowledge of GTM commercial drivers, with hands-on experience in marketing analytics (e.g., attribution, campaign measurement, funnel analysis), and the ability to learn adjacent functions quickly
