Senior Strategic Initiatives Associate

Join Crusoe, a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company, as a Senior Strategic Initiatives Associate. In this role, you will build and maintain a differentiated view of the markets that matter to Crusoe, develop competitive intelligence, and turn fragmented information into clear, actionable insights. You will also build AI-powered intelligence infrastructure and document workflows for reuse across the Strategy team. Success will be measured by the quality and practicality of your analysis, the effectiveness of market monitoring, and the efficiency of research processes.

• You have turned a recurring information need into a dataset and a repeatable process: an agent, a scraper, a pipeline, a monitoring setup, or a model with a real refresh process
• Hands-on AI fluency. You use Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar tools every day for real research and analysis, and you can show us workflows you built and understand their limitations. We will ask you to walk us through one
• Ownership: Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments and determine what is most important without waiting for a fully defined brief
• Synthesis. You can build the tools that take 1000 pieces of information and identify the three things leadership actually needs to know
• Healthy skepticism. You catch the misleading chart, unsupported claim, fabricated citation or number that does not tie
• Collaboration. You actively seek expertise across the organization and are comfortable working across technical, commercial and operational teams
• Strong market and commercial judgment. You can reason about customers, competitors, value chains, business models and unit economics and can get up to speed quickly in an unfamiliar market
• 2 to 5 years in strategy consulting, investment or equity research, corporate strategy, market research, or similarly analytical environment. A strong body of independent work can substitute
• Judgment. You can distinguish what is interesting from what is important
• Conviction with adaptability. You form a view when the evidence supports it and change your view when the evidence changes
• Builder's instinct. When a process repeats, you look for a way to make it faster and better
• Domain exposure: AI compute and cloud, semiconductors, data centers, or advanced manufacturing, power and energy markets
• Experience building a competitive intelligence or market intelligence function
• Python, SQL, AI coding tools, or experience with data APIs
• Primary research or expert network experience
• Experience evaluating startups, vendors, partnerships or acquisition opportunities
