Senior Manager of Valuation

Join Robinhood as a Senior Manager of Valuation, where you will lead and execute valuation analyses for private company investments and other illiquid financial instruments. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. This role requires a strong working knowledge of fair value measurement guidance, advanced proficiency in financial modeling, and excellent communication skills.

• Lead and execute valuation analyses for private company investments, minority equity stakes, and other illiquid financial instruments.
• Partner closely with Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting, Corporate Development, and the RHV Private Markets Valuation Committee to ensure valuations are well-supported and compliant with US GAAP.
• Build and maintain complex financial models to support fair value measurements of private company investments and other illiquid holdings.

• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP fair value measurement guidance (ASC 820) and its application to private investments
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/financial modeling; familiarity with valuation software or platforms a plus
• 10+ years of relevant experience in valuation, financial modeling, investment banking, or private equity/venture capital, with a focus on private company or illiquid investment valuation
• Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting valuation conclusions to committees, auditors, or senior stakeholders
• Demonstrated expertise in building and auditing complex financial models (DCF, comparable company analysis, option pricing models, waterfall/allocation models)
