Autonomous Vehicle Safety Driver / Vehicle Operator – Dallas, TX Put your professional driving experience to work in autonomous vehicles. We’re hiring Safety Drivers / Vehicle Operators in the Dallas area to support the testing and development of autonomous vehicles and self-driving technology . This is a great opportunity for experienced professional drivers who want to work with cutting-edge vehicle technology and gain hands-on experience in the rapidly growing autonomous vehicle industry.

What You'll Do

Operate and monitor autonomous vehicles during real-world testing and passenger rides Drive safely on Dallas-area roads and highways Stay alert and ready to take control when necessary Monitor traffic, pedestrians, and surrounding vehicles Practice defensive driving and follow traffic laws Perform daily vehicle safety checks Support data collection and document driving events Provide feedback to engineering and operations teams Use GPS, navigation apps, Uber, and other mobile technology Perform basic vehicle/software checks and follow operating procedures What We're Looking For 3+ years of continuous U.S. driving license history 3+ years of professional/high-frequency driving experience; 4+ years preferred Clean driving record No DUI, drug, or alcohol-related offenses within the past 5 years Strong vehicle-control and defensive-driving skills Thorough knowledge of local traffic regulations Comfortable driving in different weather conditions and on different types of roads Able to anticipate hazards and react safely to unexpected situations Strong communication and attention to detail Comfortable using GPS, smartphones, and mobile apps Able to pass a background check and drug screening Must be 25+ years old Great fit for:

• Professional Drivers, Delivery Drivers, Route Drivers, Rideshare Drivers, Fleet Drivers, Company Drivers, Driving Instructors, Autonomous Vehicle Operators, and Motorsports Drivers.

• AM: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM PM: 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM Available schedules include Monday–Friday, Tuesday–Saturday, Wednesday–Sunday, Thursday–Monday, Friday–Tuesday, Saturday–Wednesday, or Sunday–Thursday.
• You must be able to commit to one consistent shift/schedule .
• The hiring process includes a DMV-style city/highway driving assessment focused on safe vehicle control, defensive driving, traffic laws, stops, turns, lane changes, blind-spot checks, and situational awareness.
• An obstacle-course maneuver with a controlled hard stop is also included.
