Revenue Cycle Specialist

NorthKey Community Care is seeking a full-time Revenue Cycle Specialists to provide billing support functions in a friendly, positive, and professional manner in an outpatient healthcare environment. This position will interact with third-party payers to file billing claims for services rendered, as well as assist clients in ensuring payment for services. This will be a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, on-site at 503 Farrell Drive, Covington, KY 41011.

Submit billing data to third-party payers and work claims to ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided. Perform posting charges and completion of claims to payers in a timely fashion. Assist, cooperate, and communicate with staff regarding fiscal matters in the billing department.

Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate's degree or higher is preferred.
• At least 2 years of prior medical billing and/or coding experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and/or Commercial payors Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Skills in analyzing billing issues to formulate logical and objective conclusions and/or recommendations for solutions.
• Proficient in the use of computers and business software (in particular Electronic Health Record systems and Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel).
