Technical Project Management Intern (Summer 2027)

Your responsibilities will include assisting with program schedules, risk management, and key stakeholder interactions. This internship is designed for students currently enrolled in a four-year university and will last for a minimum of twelve weeks. • Assisting in the management of program schedules, risk management, and key stakeholder interactions to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Supporting programmatics from concept to completion for various projects, including internal R&D efforts and multi-spacecraft missions.
• Facilitating and streamlining headcount tracking and forecasting, and planning and organizing periodic internal program reviews.

• Strong communication skills, both internal and external facing
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
• Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate across different tracks and groups
• Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment, overcome obstacles with creative solutions, and clearly document/communicate tactical plans
• B.S. in aerospace engineering, or equivalent technical degree (e.g. physics or applied math)
• U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status Required
• Leadership in university programs, clubs, or technical projects
• Space system experience
• Hardware experience
• Familiarity with Smartsheet, Jira, and Confluence
• Strong Excel or Google sheet skills, including use of formulas, pivot tables, V-lookups, and basic data cleansing
