Senior Mobile App Engineer (React Native)

As a Senior Mobile App Engineer, you will lead the development of cross-platform React Native apps used by patients and clinicians. Your work will have a direct impact on capturing high-fidelity data and advancing clinical trials and at-home diagnostics. You will collaborate with various teams, shape the roadmap for our mobile platform, and have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the field of neurology, psychiatry, and sleep disorders.

• Lead the development of cross-platform React Native mobile applications for iOS and Android, ensuring high-quality user experience and performance.
• Design and implement user experience workflows for clinical trial participants and at-home diagnostic patients, owning the user experience and observability of the apps.
• Collaborate with engineers on native iOS and Android BLE device SDKs to integrate device capabilities into the app, and partner with other teams to build user-centric mobile capabilities.

• Strong communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative, async environment
• Strong TypeScript skills and familiarity with our stack (React Native, Expo, GitHub)
• Experience with app state management, offline-first data handling, and app store release processes
• A product mindset: you care deeply about UX, edge cases, and performance
• 8+ years of experience in mobile development, including substantial experience shipping and maintaining production React Native apps on both iOS and Android
• Integrated BLE peripheral devices into iOS and/or Android applications, or worked with sensor integration or health data streams
• Worked on apps for clinical trials, patients, or another regulated environment
• Written native code (Swift or Kotlin) or built native modules for React Native
• Worked with medical devices, EEG, or wearables
• Contributed to open source mobile or React Native projects
