Senior Hardware Test Engineer

Join Beacon, a leading company in the development of innovative medical devices. As a Senior Hardware Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and testing of EEG and Home Sleep Test systems. You will work closely with hardware, firmware, system, and software engineers, and be responsible for hardware characterization and verification tests, firmware unit tests, integration tests, verification tests, system integration, root cause analysis, and documentation. This position offers a flexible remote work experience with an average of 3 days per week in the Boston office.

• Contribuer au développement de nouveaux systèmes EEG et de tests de sommeil à domicile, en veillant à ce qu'ils répondent aux exigences.
• Développer et exécuter des tests de dispositifs conformément au système de gestion de la qualité de Beacon.
• Collaborer avec les ingénieurs en matériel et en firmware pour résoudre les problèmes de produit.

• Knowledge of design controls and regulations for medical devices
• Ability to read and follow electrical schematics
• Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and performing root cause analysis of hardware and firmware issues in electromechanical systems
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
• Experience with embedded software that runs on a real-time operating system (RTOS)
• 5+ years of professional engineering experience with a BS degree, or 3+ years of professional engineering experience with an MS degree or above
• Experience with tools such as Git and Jira, and platforms such as GitHub
• Experience writing detailed technical specifications and documentation, including requirements, test plans, protocols, and reports
