Vice President of Global Accounting

Join Lyra Health, a leading mental health care company, as the Vice President of Global Accounting. In this highly visible leadership role, you will lead a team of approximately 16 professionals and be responsible for scaling the accounting function, building processes, controls, systems, talent, and operating discipline necessary to support increasing business complexity. You will also support the design and implementation of a scalable SOX compliance framework, lead the standardization and optimization of accounting processes globally, and strengthen processes supporting cash visibility and liquidity management. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, public-company accounting experience, and a collaborative leadership style.

• Lead and oversee corporate accounting, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, lease accounting, consolidations, and related accounting operations.
• Support the design and implementation of a scalable SOX compliance framework, including strong business-process controls, governance, documentation, and accountability.
• Lead the standardization and optimization of accounting processes globally, establishing clear ownership, performance expectations, service levels, and measurable outcomes.

• Public-company accounting experience; a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, SOX and audit requirements
• Demonstrated success leading accounting transformation, process standardization, automation, and continuous-improvement initiatives
• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience with demonstrated success leading and developing complex accounting organizations in a global environment
• A collaborative, pragmatic leadership style and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA required
• Strong executive presence and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders, navigate complex issues, resolve escalations, and drive alignment across functions
