Senior Software Engineer (Infrastructure)

As a Senior Software Engineer (Infrastructure), you will have deep technical ownership of our serverless-first AWS platform, multi-account architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and observability and security measures. You will continuously improve our engineering operations and collaborate across teams to unblock technical challenges. • Design, deploy, and evolve the serverless-first AWS platform, including multi-account architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and guardrails.
• Implement and manage monitoring and alerting systems to ensure system health, proactively identify and address security vulnerabilities.
• Continuously improve engineering operations, select and deploy tools that keep the roadmap on track, and establish infrastructure standards.

• B.S. in Computer Science or a relevant field, or equivalent industry experience
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform
• Familiarity with AWS Organizations, multi-account governance, and IAM Identity Center
• Motivated by our mission to improve healthcare through technology
• You work independently and take ownership without waiting to be asked while supporting engineers across multiple teams
• Deep expertise in AWS, including hands-on experience with serverless architectures (Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge) and container orchestration (EKS)
• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language
• You debate technical decisions constructively and advocate for the right solutions
• Proven ability to design, deploy, and monitor cloud infrastructure at scale
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• 3–5 years of experience with public cloud infrastructure
• TypeScript proficiency
• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure or LLM-powered systems
• Experience with event-driven and service-oriented architectures
• Data ingestion pipeline experience
• Hands-on experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Experience at early-stage software companies
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD tools using GitHub Actions, Argo, Semaphore, etc
