Staff Software Engineer (Customer Platform)

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Customer Platform team, you will own features end-to-end, design and build backend systems, serve as the primary technical interface between teams, extend AI foundations into customer-facing experiences, and provide technical leadership and mentorship. • Posséder des fonctionnalités de bout en bout : de la conception à la mise en œuvre, au déploiement et à l'itération, en étroite collaboration avec la gestion des produits.
• Concevoir, construire et faire évoluer les systèmes backend (Go, REST/gRPC APIs) qui alimentent les services d'attribution, de politique et d'intégration des clients de Chainguard.
• Servir d'interface technique principale entre la plateforme client et les autres équipes d'ingénierie de Chainguard en comprenant leurs exigences et en construisant des chemins d'intégration.

• Production Go experience
• Familiarity with cloud-native environments (Kubernetes, cloud provider APIs) is a strong plus
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and provide technical guidance without needing a management title to do it
• Strong ownership of API design and backend systems at scale; you’ve shipped and operated them in production
• Comfort operating in ambiguity: you come with a diagnosis, a recommendation, and a path forward, not just a problem statement
• Experience with entitlements, billing systems, or platform infrastructure is a plus but not required
• Prior exposure to building or extending AI-powered product features is a plus
• Experience working across multiple engineering teams to align on technical standards, integration patterns, and shared infrastructure
