Engineering Manager (Cloud Infrastructure)

Join our team as the first Engineering Manager for Cloud Infrastructure. In this hands-on leadership role, you will be responsible for the reliability, roadmap, cost, and team management of our cloud platform. You will lead and grow a team of infrastructure engineers, ensure the day-to-day operation of the Hayden cloud platform, and drive infrastructure standards. Additionally, you will be accountable for planning cloud costs, capacity planning, and vendor relationships.

• Lead and manage a team of infrastructure engineers, overseeing hiring, performance, and career development.
• Be accountable for the reliability and day-to-day operation of the Hayden cloud platform, setting and monitoring SLOs.
• Build and deliver the cloud infrastructure roadmap in partnership with product, edge/device, data, and security leadership.

• Core Skills: Deep, hands-on experience building and operating cloud infrastructure with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps/ArgoCD, CI/CD, observability
• Experience: 2+ years managing infrastructure/platform/SRE engineers, plus 6+ years hands-on in cloud infrastructure. Experience running production systems with real uptime and on-call obligations
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
