Internal Communications Specialist

Join Impulse as an Internal Communications Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in shaping how we communicate with our employees. You will contribute to and execute the internal communications strategy, own core internal communications channels and programs, and partner with executives and company leaders to communicate strategy and business priorities. You will also strengthen company culture through thoughtful communications and storytelling, and support recruiting messaging and onboarding materials. • Experience partnering directly with executives and senior leaders on messaging, presentations, and company-wide communications
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to make complex information clear, compelling, and human
• Strong project management skills and the ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives
• Experience developing and executing internal communications strategies and programs from strategy through execution
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across functions and levels of an organization
• 8+ years of experience in internal communications, employee communications, or a related communications role
• Bachelors degree in related creative field
• Excellent judgment and discretion when working with sensitive or confidential information
• Experience partnering with People Operations, Recruiting, or employee experience teams is a plus
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in aerospace, technology, manufacturing, or another highly technical environment is a plus
