Manager of SEC Reporting

Join Coinbase as the Manager of SEC Reporting, where you will play a crucial role in the company's external reporting process. You will coordinate with various departments, drive improvements to the reporting infrastructure, and support audit requests and board materials. The ideal candidate will have strong written judgment, project management, and communication skills, as well as experience with Workiva, NetSuite, and spreadsheet-based analytical review. A CPA or equivalent is required, along with a strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC disclosure requirements, SOX controls, and public-company reporting mechanics.

• Coordination and ownership of the external reporting process, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and earnings releases.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve judgmental issues and deliver timely, accurate filings.
• Driving structural improvements to SEC reporting processes, including Workiva, source-data flows, and review controls.

• Strong written judgment, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to improve ambiguous or evolving processes
• Experience with Workiva (Wdesk), NetSuite, and spreadsheet-based analytical review in a controlled reporting environment
• Demonstrated experience owning complex disclosures, coordinating auditors, and managing cross-functional stakeholders under tight deadlines
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality
• CPA or equivalent required
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC disclosure requirements, SOX controls, and public-company reporting mechanics
• 9+ years of relevant experience in SEC reporting, external reporting, or public-company financial reporting, including recent hands-on ownership of 10-Q / 10-K processes
