Senior Engineer (Prime Systems & Services)

Join CoreWeave, a leading cloud provider, as a Senior Engineer in our Prime Systems & Services team. In this hands-on role, you will design, build, and operate Kubernetes-based infrastructure and shared services. You will own the entire lifecycle of Kubernetes infrastructure and services, automate workflows, improve testing and observability, and troubleshoot complex production failures. You will also collaborate with other engineering teams to solve shared infrastructure problems. This position requires 5+ years of experience in software, infrastructure, platform, SRE, DevOps, or production engineering.

• Design, build, and operate Kubernetes-based infrastructure and shared services, ensuring reliability at cloud scale.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, upgrades, maintenance, and recovery workflows, and improve testing, observability, delivery safety, and operational readiness.
• Troubleshoot complex production failures, define service health measures, and drive reliability improvements using operational data.

• You have experience with infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, or GitOps tools
• You communicate technical tradeoffs clearly and collaborate effectively across team boundaries
• You have operated production Kubernetes clusters or Kubernetes-based platforms at scale
• You can build production-quality software and automation in Golang
• You have strong Linux and systems fundamentals and can troubleshoot across networking, storage, containers, and distributed services
• You have 5+ years of experience in software, infrastructure, platform, SRE, DevOps, or production engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• You can independently take an ambiguous problem from discovery through implementation and sustained operation
• You understand observability, SLOs, incident response, fault-tolerant design, and safe production changes
• Experience operating Kubernetes on bare metal or managing large fleets of clusters
• Experience with Kubernetes controllers, operators, APIs, or platform services
• Experience leading cross-team technical work or mentoring engineers
• Experience building automated testing and progressive delivery for infrastructure
