Senior Data Scientist

Join our fast-paced, data-driven team as a Senior Data Scientist. You will work on our AI product suite, identify opportunities for proprietary data products, and translate complex datasets into clear insights. You will partner with various teams to define KPIs, communicate analysis results, and help build and evolve our analytical foundation. Additionally, you will mentor other team members and raise the bar for data storytelling and analytical rigor.

• Identifying opportunities for proprietary data products and playing a key role in understanding product usage.
• Translating complex datasets into clear insights with strategic recommendations that drive measurable actions.
• Partnering with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to define KPIs and working with evaluation data team.

• 5+ years of experience with applied statistical techniques, such as inferential methods, causal methods, A/B testing, or statistical modeling techniques
• 5+ years of experience with programming language, such as Python or R
• 5+ years of experience using SQL or similar big data querying languages
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - ability to distill complex findings from data and models into compelling insights for technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience using machine learning and statistical analysis for building data-driven product solutions or performing methodological research
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field such as statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, engineering or related field or equivalent years of practical work experience
• Experience in a product-focused role in or legal medical domain
• Advanced degree in applied mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics or related field
• Strong mentorship and leadership skills, with a track record of elevating scientific standards and growing junior talent across team
