Consultant

Join Appian as a Technical Consultant, where you will architect modern business transformations and deliver custom software solutions. You will work closely with client executives to solve complex workflow problems, build integrations, and empower enterprise teams. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, 1+ years of software development experience, and fluency in English and Dutch.

• Architect and implement robust, custom automation solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle utilizing Appian’s low-code platform.
• Build seamless data connections and scalable APIs to integrate multiple external enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, and JDBC connections.
• Collaborate closely with client technical teams and business stakeholders, driving platform adoption and training users to become self-sufficient.

• Language skills: Fluent English & Dutch
• Degree: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a closely related technical field
• Experience: 1+ years of hands-on experience in software development or technical implementation consulting
• Requirements Gathering: Demonstrated ability to analyze client business processes and translate them into functional and technical system requirements
• Mobility: Willingness to travel up to 20% to support customer engagements and on-site collaboration
• Core Engineering: Proven track record with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), database design, and SQL (writing complex queries, joins, and views)
• We value experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce or ServiceNow, as these skills translate well into our Enterprise-Grade Orchestration environment
• Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Analytics, and automated test suites within a continuous integration framework
• Familiarity with modern cloud architecture and environments, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, or Elastic Containers
