Azure Cloud Engineer, Entry Level

What You Will Do

• As an Entry-Level Azure Cloud Engineer at Independent Software, you will assist with implementing, maintaining, and supporting cloud solutions within Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
• You will work under the guidance of senior technical staff, gaining hands-on experience with cloud administration, system migrations, troubleshooting, and day-to-day cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily Azure and Microsoft 365 operations, including user provisioning, mailbox management, and system monitoring.
• Assist with deploying and configuring Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components.
• Support Microsoft 365 tenant setup, licensing, and basic configuration of Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Participate in cloud migration projects, including file server migrations to SharePoint Online and on-premises systems to Azure.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of connectivity, permissions, and application issues within Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and support guides.
• Work alongside senior technical staff to ensure cloud environments comply with organizational policies and security standards.

Certifications:

• Candidates must possess at least one current Microsoft Azure certification.

Clearance Requirement
