Position Overview

The Area Maintenance Technician supports multiple club locations by ensuring all equipment and facilities are operating safely and efficiently. This role plays a critical part in delivering a positive member experience through preventative maintenance, repairs, and quick response to facility needs.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair gym and exercise equipment Execute general facility upkeep, including small tile repair, carpentry, electrical, and small plumbing tasks Perform facility inspections and execute preventative maintenance programs Identify and address potential safety hazards Lift up to 50 lbs as needed Communicate and document maintenance issues using our computerized management system Complete repairs efficiently and follow up on outstanding work orders Travel between multiple club locations within the assigned market Maintain professional interactions with members and team members Demonstrate strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude Provide excellent customer service Be proactive, dependable, and willing to go above and beyond Qualifications Strong mechanical skills required Experience required in small tile repair, small carpentry, minor electrical, and basic plumbing Previous maintenance, mechanical or repair experience required Must own a personal set of tools Comfortable traveling between locations Strong communication skills Organized and self-motivated Willing to train the right candidate on fitness equipment Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation The Ways You Can Benefit Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with match Paid Time Off Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability Monthly Car Stipend Reimbursement Free Crunch Fitness Membership Discounted Personal Training Sessions High-energy team environment Growth opportunities in a rapidly expanding company If you’re ready to stop looking for a job and start building a career, now is the time to join CR Fitness.
