Service Technician I

Rate: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position) Monthly renewal bonuses are paid in addition to base pay. We are seeking a Service Technician I for our 472-unit apartment community in Shreveport, Louisiana! As Service Technician I, you will turn vacant units into beautiful apartments, preparing them for new residents to call home.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of previous maintenance experience on an apartment community.
• Must meet all physical requirements and be able to take direction.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call 1 week per month or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performing minor repairs and maintenance.
• Completing a duties checklist to ensure vacant apartments are move-in ready.
• Walking the property grounds and common areas as well as picking up trash and debris.
• Performing any additional duties assigned by both the Community Manager and/or Service Supervisor.

Work Days

Monday – Friday Work Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call 1 week per month or as needed.

Required License or Certification

• Valid Driver’s License in Louisiana, or a neighboring state in proximity to the property.
