Advanced Practice Provider - Cardiology

Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Boca Raton, Florida | Full-Time MyCardiologist is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its cardiology team in Boca Raton, Florida. The practice has served patients throughout South Florida for more than 60 years. The position includes office visits and hospital rounding with the physician team.

APPs with cardiology experience are encouraged to apply. Experience in hospital medicine, internal medicine, critical care, or a related specialty is also valued.

Position Details Full-time, Monday–Friday daytime schedule Office-based patient care and hospital rounding Shared weekend coverage approximately once per month Work alongside an established team of cardiologists and APPs Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions Conduct follow-up visits and manage ongoing cardiac care Develop treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists Order and review laboratory studies, EKGs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests Manage medications and monitor patients’ progress Participate in hospital rounding and coordinate follow-up care Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, and other clinical staff Qualifications Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Active, unrestricted Florida license Cardiology experience preferred Experience in hospital medicine, internal medicine, critical care, or a related specialty also considered Strong clinical judgment and communication skills A collaborative, patient-centered approach Compensation and Benefits Competitive base compensation Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability coverage Paid time off 401(k) retirement plan Professional development opportunities Resources and support through CVAUSA and Novocardia About MyCardiologist MyCardiologist is a physician-led cardiovascular practice with more than six decades of experience caring for patients throughout South Florida.
