Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and receiving locations.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws, safety regulations, and customer-specific procedures.
• Maintain the vehicle in safe, clean, and reliable operating condition.
• Meet established pickup and delivery times and communicate delays or service issues promptly.
• Protect customer shipments and report damaged, missing, or improperly secured freight.
• Provide professional, courteous service at every pickup and delivery location.
• Independent Contractor Requirements Must own or have reliable access to a box truck suitable for assigned delivery work.
• Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle being operated.
• Acceptable driving record and ability to meet customer-specific qualification requirements.
• Current vehicle registration and required insurance coverage.
• Ability to provide any required business documentation and tax information.
• Ability to pass applicable background checks and drug screening when required by the customer or assignment.
• Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle freight as required by the assigned route.
• Previous box truck, commercial delivery, courier, or freight transportation experience preferred.
• Professional appearance, dependable attendance, and a commitment to safe, on-time service.
