Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and medication management for inpatient patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients’ clinical needs and treatment goals.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches as clinically appropriate.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Provide appropriate clinical guidance and supervision to mid-level providers, as applicable to the role and in accordance with Texas requirements.
• Uphold the highest standards of professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and quality of care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Psychiatry required.
• Active Texas medical license in good standing.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills.
