Group Home

3M’s Services LLC is seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide residential support to individuals with I/DD and mental health needs. As a Group Home DSP, you will assist members with daily living activities, promote independence, maintain a safe and supportive home environment, and ensure assigned shift responsibilities are completed.

Key Responsibilities

Direct Care:

• Assist members with personal hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, daily routines, and other activities of daily living.

Medication Administration

Administer medications as prescribed when properly trained and authorized, following agency procedures.

Member Safety

Provide appropriate supervision, monitor member well-being, and maintain a safe residential environment.

Household Responsibilities

Complete assigned shift duties, including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining an organized home.

Behavioral Support

Implement individualized support plans, positive behavioral strategies, and appropriate de-escalation techniques.

Community Engagement

• Encourage independence and assist members with appointments, recreational activities, and community participation.

Documentation:

• Complete accurate daily service notes, medication records, shift reports, and required documentation.

Team Collaboration

Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with individuals with I/DD, mental health needs, or in residential care preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to complete required background screenings and agency training.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid and medication administration certifications as required.
• Strong communication, dependability, and organizational skills.
• Ability to assist with physical care needs and household responsibilities.
