Field Service Engineer (KIOXIA) MIE site

Your role

As a Field Service Engineer at the KIOXIA MIE site, your mission is to ensure that our advanced vacuum technique equipment operates efficiently and effectively to meet customer requirements. You will report directly to the Engineering Manager overseeing the Semi Chamber Solutions Division. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining our reputation for exceptional service and technical support within the vacuum technology sector.

In this role, you will: Provide on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for vacuum systems and components used in semiconductor manufacturing. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, quality assurance, and customer support to resolve complex technical issues.

Conduct regular system performance evaluations and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. Document service activities and communicate findings and recommendations to both internal stakeholders and clients to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction. Stay updated on the latest vacuum technology advancements and integrate new knowledge into daily operations and customer solutions.

Your proactive approach and technical expertise will contribute significantly to the ongoing success and innovation of Edwards Japan Ltd within the fast-evolving semiconductor industry. To thrive in this role, you will need: 3 to 5 years of experience in field service engineering with a focus on vacuum technology or related industrial equipment.
