Demand Forecast Analyst

Role Purpose Own the demand forecasting process for assigned accounts. The role is responsible for generating accurate demand forecasts, supporting sales target achievement, and driving continuous improvements in planning and commercial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the demand forecasting process for assigned regions and provide detailed sales forecast data to support supply planning and business operations.
• Partner closely with Regional Commercial teams to understand customer demand trends, forecast assumptions, and market dynamics.
• Monitor demand performance and proactively communicate significant demand changes, emerging trends, and forecast risks/opportunities to key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure product strategies and joint venture (JV) closing plans are fully aligned and incorporated into the Sales Plan.
• Maintain and enhance forecasting models, leveraging data analytics to identify demand patterns, market trends, and demand fluctuations.
• Analyze forecast variances, investigate root causes of deviations, and recommend forecast adjustments to continuously improve forecast accuracy and reliability.
• Support ad hoc business analysis, reporting requests, and process improvement initiatives within the Demand Planning team.
• Drive process improvements through automation, digitalization, and the effective use of analytical tools and technologies and support ad hoc business analyses and reporting requests.
• Experiences/Education - Required Bachelor’s degree or above - MBA or Master’s Degree in business-related fields.
• At least 3+ years of relevant work experience in Commercial, Finance or SCM function.
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to perform data analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Good business acumen with the ability to understand market dynamics, business drivers, and the impact of demand planning decisions on business performance.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and proactively drive tasks to completion.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Flexible and highly adaptable in responding to changing business priorities and requirements.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Experiences/Education - Desired Familiar with Microsoft's tools suite, such as Power BI, Power Platform and Power Query to create dashboard.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Capable of understanding data from business insights.
