Indirect tax controller

Join as an Indirect Tax Controller in our Global Indirect Tax Operational Compliance and Accounting team. In this role, you will manage global VAT compliance processes, drive process standardization and automation, and liaise with key stakeholders.

You will be keen to develop and grow within the role and challenge yourself to take on additional projects and responsibilities as they present themselves - Thriving in a fast paced changing environment and ability to create structure are key capabilities for this role - Enthusiastic about improvement and innovation - Strong IT experience in financial systems, including SAP, is preferable - Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management - Adaptability and capability to lead and drive change - Track record in successfully representing finance in cross-functional projects - High levels of personal effectiveness, particularly communication, organization and the ability to focus on achieving project deadlines - Approx. 5-7 years’ experience in finance and/or accounting preferably within tax accounting and multinational corporate environment - Fluent in spoken and written English - Ambitious and inquisitive attitude - Enthusiastic, proactive and driven - University (Accounting, Business, Economic) degree and/or postgraduate education (RA/CPA) - Proven ability and the credibility to persuade and influence in effecting changes within an organization - Sound knowledge of US GAAP - Experienced in working in a team in an international company and matrix organization
